Results and Party Night
So, the final results of the 7th Ozone Chabre Open didn't change over the last couple of days due to the tasks starting but being cancelled. The prizegiving ceremony was run by the ever efficient Jocky, flanked by David.

Taking first prize overall was Anders Beyer Brattli on board his Nova Factor 2. He won the special prize of a glider flight with, Klaus Ohlmann, world record holder and pilot extraordinaire and owner of local gliding school, Quo Vadis at Serres.

Prizes were given by Ozone, Cross Country Magazine and Quo Vadis. Everyone gets an Ozone rucksack full of goodies including hoodies, Gilet, wash bags, T shirts, Wallets, Beanies and more.

After the prize-giving, a splendid dinner was provided for all by Camping Monteglin. Midway, the infamous Ozone prize draw took place, with literally dozens of prizes presented to as many pilots. But it was the first ticket out the hat that everyone was waiting for – the Ozone glider prize in 2012 was won by Gerard Van Rijn. His glider of choice was a Rush3 congratulations Gerard!

A different sort of final party this year, as we joined in the Fete de Musique St Jean held just outside of the camping. Good music and dancing was on the menu.
