Privacy Notice for Chabre Vol Libre

 

Chabre Vol Libre (CVL) is a paragliding club affiliated to the FFVL (Fédération Française de Vol Libre).  CVL organises and runs paragliding cross-country competitions. It is based in the Laragne and Ribiers areas of southern France.


Chabre Vol Libre takes your privacy seriously. We are a “controller” of the personal information that you provide to us and this privacy notice sets out how, why and for how long we will use your personal data, as well as who it is shared with. It also explains your legal rights as a data subject and how to exercise them.

In the event that we share personal information with external third parties, we only share such information strictly required for the specific purposes and take reasonable steps to ensure recipients shall only process the disclosed personal information in accordance with those purposes.

 

How we protect your personal information

Your personal information is accessed by our Club officers and website administrator and only for the purposes set out above.
The data we collect from you will be stored within the EU. By providing us with this data, you agree to this storing and/or processing.
All our data is stored on our secured servers or on secure servers that are operated by a third party GDPR compliant host.

How long we keep your personal information

We only keep your personal information for as long as necessary to provide you with our competition services. We delete your personal information 3 years after your registration date.

We maintain an email distribution list which will only contain your name and email address.  You can unsubscribe from this list at any time using the unsubscribe link

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post these changes on this website, so that you always know what information we collect and how we use it.
